Richardson Family Session

I've been meaning to blog this session for a while now and am just now getting around to it. Sorry Richardson family! Thank goodness we have facebook ;) LOL. This session was a long time in the planning. It seemed that everytime we planned to go out it would rain! In fact, it took us two sessions to get this done because it started pouring in the middle of day 1! This family means the world to me. They were the very first family that called me up and took a chance on me when I was just starting out. Words cannot express how much their confidence in me means to me. And to top it off they keep coming back for more! :) Thanks again Richardson family- I hope to be photographing you for many years to come!

I love this one... just a family being a family

little M absolutely LOVED this tricycle. I have a feeling a brand new one will be coming her way soon. :)

Love those eyes!

This might be my favorite shot from the whole session.... ok at least in the top 5!

One word says it all

The one request that Britt had for this session was that I got some shots with their dog Hunter. I dont know about you Britt, but I ADORE this one.

:) The whole family

Gorgeous light!

The Blake Wedding. 7/23/10

It was an insanely hot and humid day. The sweat just poured off of anyone who was in attendance. However, none of that mattered once they caught a glimpse of Jason and Crystal. The two of them are so in love and their happiness just rolled off of them in waves, touching everyone who saw them. The day was filled with lots of love. On this day everyone was family and the emotion was palpable at the small country wedding. Jason and Crystal, I wish you both all the happiness in the world. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your very special day. I enjoyed it emensely.

Caitlin

Caitlin is the sister of one of my friends. A couple of weeks ago I was feeling particular anxious to go shoot some pictures but had no model. I put out a call on facebook and Caitlin agreed to let me drag her all over town to get some shots. I am so pleased with how her pictures turned out. Caitlin, you are a beautiful girl with a big heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me take some shots of you while you suffered in the 100 degree heat. I hope you keep me in mind when it comes time for your senior pictures! ;) Enjoy!!

So sweet!

I was so excited when I saw this door. I wont lie, I did a happy dance right then and there. I am so happy that we found this unique place so close to home.

Love this shot of you!

Im not sure why, but I really really really like this one. :)

And last but not least, my favorite... by far. Simply gorgeous.

What a Cutie!

Whenever I feel the need to snap a few pictures or try out a new technique I have this handy little cutie to practice with. While I have no (human) children of my own I can always walk to the house behind us and there this little guy is. I feel very fortunate that my husband's cousin lives right behind us. This is their little guy and no matter how muddy and dirty he is always good for a couple of awesome portraits. :) I cannot wait to see him grow and capture it on film! Not too mention that they are expecting a new addition to the family and you know what that means- Newborn shots!!!! EEEEKKKK :)

Jason and Michelle's wedding!

Jason and Michelle both glowed on their special day. You see, this day had been a long time coming. Not only have they known each other since high school but they just recently made it through their first deployment together. As a fellow military wife I know exactly how hard it is to be separated from your loved one for so long. Jason was deployed with my husband and as a result Michelle and I became good friends. We really relied on eachother throughout this past year. I am so very honored to have been a part of their special day. Not only did I take some pictures I was also a bridesmaid.

Jason and Michelle, I cannot tell you how ecstatic I am about your pictures. Michelle, you are gorgeous and Jason, too dapper for words. I wish you all the happiness in the world as you begin your journey forward together. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing Kasey and myself to have been a part of your day.

Jason and Michelle: 6/12/10
Michelle- you glowed. Simply beautiful.

I cannot discribe to you how HOT it was on this particular afternoon. You could not step outside without being overcome by the humidity. Everyone had sweat just pouring off of them. That being said, Michelle, you ROCKED it out!!

I loved all the military details that were included in this wedding but I especially loved the firetruck. When Jason isn't fulfilling his duty as a medic in the US Army he is working at the local firehouse. A true hero. I loved the extra special touch you included by having the firetruck be your 'getaway' vehicle.

This pictures is especially special to me. Michelle and Jason opted to have a First Look before the ceremony. I cant tell you what an awesome idea this is!! We had plenty of time for pictures and they were able to have a special semi- private (photographers only) moment. This pictures is what I captures right before Jason turned around to see his bride.

Both of you are too awesome for words!

Some of the military details.
This cutie is Michelle's nephew and the ringbearer. I had a blast chasing him around.

The groomsmen and a usher.

This was a special request by Jason. I loved the idea and am so thankful he thought of it.

This shot is super special in that the little girls hands belong to Michelle's neice; the flowergirl. :)

Shoes!!!
